APPRENTICESHIPS PROGRAMME
ADVETI Apprenticeships are competency-based qualifications that are developed in conjunction with industry. Apprenticeships will allow for the delivery of training to be undertaken in the company and at the vocational training institute. This Dual System will recognize the learner skills developed through “On the Job” training activities as well as those undertaken through off the job learning activities at the vocational training institute.
The Apprenticeship programme enable all learners to acquire the skills required for employment. The apprentice is a renumerated employee of a company who is undergoing training to learn the functional skills of the job.

How long is it?
Diploma apprenticeship is a minimum of 2 years working for a company but also studying at ADVETI.
APPRENTICESHIPS PROGRAMME
Who is it for?
- Someone willing to commit to work and study but prefer a more hands on work-related way of learning.
- Someone ready to start working with an employer and be based in the workplace most of the time on the program.
- Anyone 17 or above and has completed grade 12.
APPRENTICESHIPS PROGRAMME
How will I be taught?
30% of learning at ADVETI ‘o the job’ training – using a range of teaching methods, practicals, group work, role plays, professional discussions, assessments etc.
70% of learning at work ‘on the job’ training – apprentice will spend most of their training or learning at work performing real job functions and training at the same time.

What do I do after I complete?
The training will allow you to progress into the job role you are training in for example an Engineering Apprenticeship will lead to an Engineering Technician role or Maintenance Engineer Technician.
